Philosophy of Ministry

Our church was birthed in August of 2005, since the beginning we believe in the entire Bible from the beginning to the end.  Our focus has been on the following verses:

Matthew 9:10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

Verse11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

Verse12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Verse13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

We believe this should be the focus of the church.  Jesus came for the sinner.  Isn’t it amazing when we read the bible we see the only people that had a problem with Jesus were the religious people.  The religious people were always complaining about the actions of Jesus.

They were upset when Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath day.  They said you can not do that, they were stuck in the law not realizing who Jesus was and still is today our Lord and Savior.

Do you remember when Jesus healed the man that was born blind.  We find the story in the gospel of John chapter 9 beginning in verse 1.  The disciples asked Jesus who sinned this man or his parents due to he was born blind.  But Jesus answered and said neither but the works of God should be made manifest in him.

You see the disciples were sure that someone must have sinned.  The disciples saw sin but Jesus saw an opportunity to heal someone.  As you read on in the following verses you see this aggravated the religious people again.

If you have ever felt like an outcast, underdog, unloved, or unwanted, our church is the place for you.  We do not see a problem, but an opportunity for Jesus to receive you just as you are and allow Him to change your life forever.  Once we allow God to change us individually we are able to influence those around us, Hence the theme of our church "Where the family comes for worship."

As you read this if you do not have a church that you call home we invite you to come and be with us and experience God’s love.  If you have never asked Jesus to come into your heart don’t wait another second.  It as easy as ABC.

A-    Jesus I accept you as Lord and Savior and I invite you in to my heart

B-    Jesus I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and You arose from the grave

C-    Jesus I confess my sins to you.

Thank you Lord for saving me.  If you prayed that prayer I encourage you to find a good bible based church and start reading the bible.  I would start with the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  If you are in our area, we invite you to be with us.

Whether you are a new believer or you have been walking with God for sometime we have something for everyone from the youngest to the oldest.  We believe if you are saved you should be doing something for the Kingdom.  God did not save you for you to be sitting on your blessing Go and share the Good News, what God has done for you with somebody.

WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is inerrant in the original writings (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

WE BELIEVE…that there is only ONE true and living God existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1-3; John 10:30; John 15:26; John 16:13; 1 John 4:15).

WE BELIEVE…that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world. Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father. Jesus Christ is the doorway to the Kingdom of God (Luke 1:26-33; John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 5:8).

WE BELIEVE…the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit releases power into the life of the believer by baptizing the believer into Jesus Christ. (John 16:13; Acts 1:4-8).

WE BELIEVE…that a person accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord & Savior through a confession of faith that Jesus is Lord and the belief in the heart that God raised Him from the dead.  For all have sinned and fallen short. (Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8).

WE BELIEVE…in tithing to God (10% of any increase) and faithfully sowing offerings (Malachi 3:8-12; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).

WE BELIEVE…water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19).

WE BELIEVE…in the regular serving of communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross (1 Corinthians 11:17-34)

We Believe…The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
